DAY 1 :
Arrival at Chennai International Airport/Central railway station

On your arrival in Chennai, you will be received and transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon start your Chennai Metropolitan City Tour.
- Fort St. George. It was built in 1640 by the British East India Company.
- St Mary’s Church & St George Fort Museum.
- The renowned Marina Beach. It is the 2nd longest beach in the world with a sandy foreshore.
- Have a short drive to visit the St. Thomas Church where the Basilica was built over the tomb of St.Thomas, one among the three in the World.
- Then have a visit to the famous Kapaleeswarar Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Return back to the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Chennai
DAY 2 :
On the 2nd day, leave for Kanchipuram by road.
- Kanchipuram is referred to as one of the 7 sacred cities of Hinduism.
- The Chola capital during the 2nd century, Kanchipuram today is an important place where people come to gain knowledge about Jainism, Hinduism, and Buddhism
You may visit the city’s popular temples such as
- Kamakshi Amman temple,
- Ekambareswarar temple and so on.
- Also visit the silk weavers of the city, residing here for the past four centuries. Thereafter, continue towards Mahabalipuram. On arrival, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel. Overnight stay.
DAY 3 :
The 3rd day is scheduled for sightseeing in Mahabalipuram. Also known as Mamallapuram, it has been the ancient port of the Pallava rulers. During their reign, the Pallava rulers constructed a number of architectural marvels such as caves, sculptural panels, temples, and Monolithic rathas.
One such attraction that you will visit today includes Krishna Mandapam. Dedicated to Lord Krishna, it is the world’s largest cave-cut Hindu temple. The walls of this temple consist of several figures, including those of Lord Krishna, humans, birds, and demi-gods.
The last attraction of the day is the Five (Paanch) Rathas. Also called the Pandava Rathas, it is a group of 5 monolithic temples, each erected in a different architecture styling. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 4 :
Finish your breakfast and drive to Pondicherry, the French Colony.
Now renamed as ‘Puducherry’, the cobbled streets fringes by mustard-yellow and sky blue colonial townhouses and named in French give you an impression that you are no longer in a small town in South India, but that is only the Old City – the part that was under French rule till 1954. Check-in to the hotel and late you can start your Pondicherry City Tour by having a visit to the famous spots like

- Sri Aurobindo Ashram,
- Church of sacred heart and
- Notre Dame Des Anges.
In the evening, you can have a

DAY 5 :
Today, get all set to drive to Tanjore which is renowned as the ‘Rice Bowl of Tamil Nadu.
- En-route halts at Chidambaram. This quaint town of Tamil Nadu is known as the seat of Lord Nataraja, the Cosmic Dancer. It has a distinct feature of 5 sabhas.
- Thereafter, you will visit the highly revered Gangaikonda Cholapuram then continue to Tanjore.
On arrival in Tanjore, check in at your pre-booked hotel. After some rest, the rest of the day is for sightseeing in Tanjore including the very well-known

DAY 6 :
Depart after having breakfast and set foot into the ancient city of Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Also famed as the Athens of the East

- Tiruchirapalli Rock Fort, placed on the banks of the River Kaveri

- In the early morning by 04:00 AM reach Ramanathaswamy Temple for darshan of Jyotirlinga which can be only viewed between 04:30 AM to 05:30 AM.
- After darshan, take 3 dips in the sea Agni Theertham.
- Return to Ramanathaswamy Temple to take a bath in the Holy 22 wells.
- By 09:00 AM return to the hotel and have breakfast.

- Visit Pamban Bridge, Pamban Rail Bridge, Ramar Patham, Agni Theertham, Rama Theertham, Lakshmana Theertham, Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple, A.P.J Abdul Kalam House, Villoondi Theertham, Dhanushkodi Beach, Ram Setu (Adam’s Bridge), Kothanda Ramar Temple.
